This for everyone, who wants to know who we are and something about our meetings. Holky v Brně is a group that originated as a succesor to a free association Lesby (nejen) sobě, which ended its activities in 2004. A year later, the meetings were again felt useful and needed, and thus the Holky came to existence. Their emergence was a matter of discussions and sharing of ideas, and the activities gradually began to broaden. The organizing team altered several times during the first year of existence, and everyone, who wants to take part in the activities, is welcome. Possibilities are unlimited: if you have any ideas, do not hesitate to write them to our email address holky.brno[@]seznam.cz ([@] this symbol is here because of spam ) In case want to receive our newsletter or info, send us an email too, and we will be happy to send you the news. Write also if you have never visited our meetings or trips, because you did not find the courage to (or out of any reason). Maybe we can dispel your worries. If you do not know us and feel it difficul to come, here is some info: Holky v Brně are an association of girls, who gradually came to know each other and became friends. But there is no problem in your first coming among us to just look around, we are not hydras who would fling on newscomers and tear them to pieces. We are nice and sweet girls, we love fun, and only way to learn to know us is to come. We are a community group, some of us go to clubs, other don't, some only sometimes. Most of us are in their 20s or 30s, but you would find it hard to guess the age difference. Often we are not able to decide, which film we want to watch together. Some of us do not drink at all, some of us usually do not object to beer or wine. Simply, we are a diverse group with a good atmosphere, nobody would say at first glimpse "these are the terrible lesbians I fear, they will definitely fall upon me and want something". So, just come.
